That is why our Moving Consultant makes an appointment with you
in advance. During the Pre-Move Survey he prepares
the move down to the smallest detail with you. He goes over every
stage of the move, step by step. He discusses the timing, goes through
all the formalities and technical details and notes down carefully
your specific wishes and comments.
Packing
Your home and its contents are the extension of you and
your personality. We respect this. Compas leaves nothing
to chance.
For instance, we developed special protective material
to protect your floors and staircases. Your belongings receive the
same attention… from crystal to works of
art, from tapestries to wine cellars, from antique clocks to antiquarian
books. Each item is packed in the best possible way. Our cabinetmaker
will construct made to measure wooden crates for your special items.
Whatever the challenge we will come up with a professional
and creative solution.
Moving
Time for the move itself. Does the very thought of it make you nervous?
You don’t have to be. We take care of everything. So you can
continue doing what you normally do – we do the rest.
Moving is something that our people do with care and dedication.
All our removal personnel have years of experience
in the branch and are multilingual. In putting
our packing team together, we take into consideration
your expectations and your needs. After all, we’ll be spending
several days in each other’s company, so it’s preferable
that we all get on well, isn’t it?
Transportation
We personally see to everything relating to your move, from
door to door, basically anywhere in the world.
That means that not only do we ensure transportation by
land, sea and air, but that we also take care of all customs
documents.

Furniture and Personal Belongings
Our experienced crew master supervises
the loading of your belongings into an appropriate shipping
container (20ft, 40ft, 45ft, high cube) or airfreight container
for overseas moves, or on a truck with air suspension for
European destinations.
For the transportation of your goods we only work with the
very best airlines, shipping companies and hauliers that travel
frequently to your destination.

Pets
We like to pamper your pets too. We take
care of all the formalities, organise their transport from
your home to the airport and make sure they are as comfortable
as possible during the flight. If necessary, we can also organise
a temporary stay in kennels for them. Once you've properly
settled in, we come and deliver your pets to you personally.
They then
can adapt to their new home at their ease with no moving
stress.

Cars/Boats/Jet Skis/Caravans
For larger items as cars, boats, caravans
and such, you can count on us to complete all the necessary
customs formalities and ensure a trouble free journey (RoRo,
container or truck). |
Unpacking
At destination our overseas colleagues are on hand to both handle
customs clearance and ensure your belongings are delivered safely to their new
destination. We personally select all our agents to
ensure that they will treat your belongings with the same respect as we would.
After Sales Service
Our objective is to give you optimal service. Also
once the move is over. Our Moving Consultant is not only there before
and during the move but also afterwards. He will contact you to
check whether everything is as you wished and whether
we can be of any further help. We also ask you to fill in our evaluation
form and return it to us. Your feedback helps us

Naturally, your belongings are insured for the move. Should however,
in spite of our careful precautions, one of your valuable items
become damaged during the move, then we look for an optimal solution
together with you for the compensation or repair of the damage.
We do this in close liaison with your or our recognised insurance
broker.
