Commitment
Quality focus
Quality is the thread of our story. We will not provide you with a quality manual, processes or listing of quality accreditations. We do measure our quality based on the feedback we receive from our clients. This is how.
Direct communication
The best way to understand our customers is to speak with them directly.
Customer satifaction
Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. Everybody at Compas is aware of the requirements of external as well as internal customers.
Positive attitude
A warm friendly smile, courteous mannerism, willingness to serve and an empathetic demeanour. A positive attitude in customer service means happy customers.
Employees part of decision making
This brings a sense of loyalty among our employees towards the organisation, and it makes them feel connected with our customers.
Contineous improvement
By gaining insights in processes and overall performance, we never stop improving our services.
Win-Win
You and us, we are inter-dependent. Therefore, a mutually beneficial relationship is a must for the quality we deliver.
We think green
Environmental protection is a global challenge and an investment in our future. At Compas Moving Company Brussels, we ensure that we constantly control and adapt our activities to improve our environmental performance. Our aim is to reduce our overall carbon footprint by 20%. This is how.
Trucks
We use eco-friendly, young and fuel-efficient moving trucks and vehicles. Equipped with GPS fleet technology to determine the fastest and most efficient route to reduce ‘empty vehicle mileage’. This cuts down on the amount of fuel our fleet uses and the maintenance needed to keep it going.
Packing materials
What about all the boxes and packing materials you see our crew haul away after your move? When possible, we repurpose moving boxes to make available to our self-pack customers. What can’t be reused is always recycled.
Solar
Solar power is a 100% clean, renewable energy source. This staggering statistic made us decide to put solar panels on top of our office and warehouse. We consider this an investment in the future of the planet, conserving non-renewable energy sources and protecting the environment.
We go Paperless
Giving up paper in favour of digital files and documents has created an environmentally friendly working environment, obliterating the mounds of paperwork that inevitably build up in our company.
LED Lighting
LED lighting is one of the most energy efficient forms of lighting, other than natural daylight of course. LED bulbs use approximately 15 times less electricity than halogen lighting, significantly reducing our carbon footprint.
We switch of appliance at the end of the day
The simple act of switching off appliances at the end of the day will help reduce our business’s carbon footprint and save money.
We enable power save mode
For appliances used intermittently, such as photocopiers and monitors, enabling the ‘power save’ mode, which mean they drain less energy when not in use, helps a business become more energy efficient.
We unplug phone charges
It might be tempting to keep your phone charger plugged in whilst at work, but such appliances consume significant amounts of electricity even when they’re not in use but still plugged in.
Laptops instead of desktops
Laptops can use a staggering 80 percent less power than desktop computers. That’s why we use energy-efficient laptops rather than relying on power-draining desktops.
Charity
An international move can be one of the most stressful moments in lifetime. All these practical things to do and think of, such as getting rid of some old items or items that cannot be moved. Collaborating with Compas means you can choose for our charity service. We take away your unwanted items, and all of your donations go straight to charity shops. Therefore we have put together some tips.
Sort your stuff
Not all the items you have are eligible for donation. Please make sure to sort the items you would like to dispose into the following categories: keep, donate, recycle, waste.
Large items
Large and bulky furniture are often difficult to handle. Our crew has the manpower and resources (external lift) to handle them.
Electrical appliances
American appliances run on 110 volts, while European appliances are 220 volts. Instead of dumping these appliances and polluting the environment, we prefer to donate them to charity.
Food items
Too often, food items end up in the bin. We make sure the non-perishable food you don’t want to pack is donated to a local food bank.
Customer centric
The evolution of technology, innovation and globalisation has drastically changed the expectation of customers. A lot of moving companies and international shippers in our industry still approach their clients the way they did 20 years ago. Such a ‘one size fits all approach’ is not what we do at Compas. A superior customer experience, that’s what you get. Tailored to your needs. This is how.
- Proactive approach
- YES WE CAN mentality
- Solution driven
- No gradation in customers
- Use of the newest digital tools and logistics software
